what are FODMAPs?

FODMAPs are a group of fermentable carbohydrates which are poorly absorbed in the small intestine, and trigger symptoms in people with a sensitive gut or Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

The term FODMAP stands for Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols. On the low FODMAP diet you cut out FODMAPs for up to 8 weeks.

certified low FODMAP meals

The diet was first developed by researchers at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. All our low FODMAP meals have been certified to be low FODMAP by the experts at Monash University. One serving of a meal made in accordance with this recipe is low in FODMAPs and can assist with following the Monash University Low FODMAP dietTM.
