FODMAPs are a group of fermentable carbohydrates which are poorly absorbed in the small intestine, and trigger symptoms in people with a sensitive gut or Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
The term FODMAP stands for Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols.
The diet was first developed by researchers at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. All our low FODMAP meals have been certified to be low FODMAP by the experts at Monash University.
Up to 20% of people suffer from wind, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation and discomfort due to Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Research has shown that 3 out of 4 IBS sufferers feel better when following the low FODMAP diet.

Our meals have been developed by Sasha Watkins to ensure the meals are IBS friendly and nutritious. Sasha was one of the first UK dietitians to be trained in the low FODMAP diet and has published research on IBS, food allergy and intolerance.
