About the Eat Well, Live Well Programme

We understand that the period after cancer treatment can be filled with uncertainty, especially when it comes to finding the right diet and lifestyle for your recovery.

That’s why we developed the Eat Well, Live Well programme in collaboration with the cancer specialists at Perci Health, to support people in their recovery journey after cancer treatment. It's a 12-week nutrition and wellbeing intervention that combines evidence-based dietary guidance with a meal plan, to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make changes that will enhance both your physical and mental wellbeing and improve your quality of life after treatment.

The full programme - which we evaluated together with a group of women who had completed breast cancer treatment - included:

• One Field Doctor ready meal per day (lunch or dinner)

• Field Doctor Porridge with seeds or nuts for breakfast

• A home-cooked meal using recipes from our cookbook, which you can download from the resources section

• Access to this online education series, covering gut health, dietary myths, fatigue, menopause, sleep, movement, and more.

The goal was to help participants adopt a Mediterranean-style pattern of eating, build confidence around nutrition, and feel supported every step of the way. You can see some of the results from the programme evaulation in the infographic below.

We've now made the online education series available for people recovering from other types of cancer, which you can access through this hub.
