FODMAPs are a group of fermentable carbohydrates which are poorly absorbed in the small intestine, and trigger symptoms in people with a sensitive gut or Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
The term FODMAP stands for Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides and Polyols. On the low FODMAP diet you cut out FODMAPs for up to 8 weeks.
The diet was first developed by researchers at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. All our low FODMAP meals have been certified to be low FODMAP by the experts at Monash University.
One serving of a meal made in accordance with this recipe is low in FODMAPs and can assist with following the Monash University Low FODMAP dietTM.
Up to 20% of people suffer from wind, bloating, diarrhoea, constipation and discomfort due to Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Research has shown that 3 out of 4 IBS sufferers feel better when following the low FODMAP diet.
Our delicious meals are crafted in our Somerset kitchen using ingredients from our sustainably-focused producers. Our food is packed with flavour, nutrients, health benefits, without the FODMAPs, then flash-frozen to lock-in freshness.
Dietitian designed
Our meals have been developed by Sasha Watkins to ensure the meals are IBS friendly and nutritious. Sasha was one of the first UK dietitians to be trained in the low FODMAP diet and has published research on IBS, food allergy and intolerance.
No compromise
Full of flavour, wholesome ingredients, good quality meat & sustainably sourced fish.
Backed by science
The low FODMAP diet is backed by a body of good-quality research and recognised by the NHS.
